Tim Bird

Managing Director

As Managing Director, Tim leads the Agilyx New Zealand team. He has broad industry experience and a passion for delivering change and improvement through an outcome focused management style.
Tim is a highly experienced business solutions consultant with more than 10 years Business World experience, both locally and in Europe, delivering robust business improvement transformations to complex organisations living through change.
As a qualified and respected management accountant with a flair for business analysis, problem-solving and innovative design, Tim is credited with having an extremely strong ability to turn vision and requirements into practical deliverable solutions.
As a seasoned consultant, Tim is very well versed in helping others articulate their thoughts and needs through the ability to listen, reflect, ask questions and check understanding so as to fully comprehend the issues and situation. Tim has extensive experience providing solutions for organisations in the government, education, health, not-for-profit and commercial service sectors.

Paulo Renato Rato

Senior Project Manager

Paulo is a certified Unit4 consultant and brings many years of Business World experience in a consulting, pre-sales and project management capacity.  He has managed projects in public and private sector organisations including large scale, transformational and multinational projects, which leads him to be skilled in a broad spectrum of project types.
He has experience in taking ownership of complex issues, identifying and managing risks, and presenting recommendations and results of deliverables.
Along with this experience, he brings staff leadership, business analysis and design experience developed over 10 years in the professional services sector.

Sophia Rudd

Senior Project Manager

Sophia Rudd is one of our Senior Project Managers. She has worked for many years in software development and service delivery for software vendors, government agencies and private organisations. Sophia has experience in planning of work, people leadership and management, and senior stakeholder and vendor engagement. She has delivered successful outcomes in the projects she has been involved by continual communication, collaboration and building of partnership.

Matt Pritchard

Global Operations Manager

Matt is our Operations Manager looking after the internal workings of the Agilyx Group. He has 12 years of management experience and holds ANZIM accreditation. Working across different departments, Matt shows great enthusiasm which motivates and encourages the team.

He is passionate about business and enjoys solving problems and fine-tuning operations.

Mark Major

Business Development Manager

Mark is our Business Development Manager and brings a wealth of experience from a variety of roles within the IT industry. With a keen interest in emerging technologies, Mark is passionate about using technology to solve problems and drive business efficiency. Mark enjoys working with potential customers to see how our products and services can deliver value to organisations operating in a rapidly changing environment.

Nathan Carlton

Manager Customer Success

Nathan is Agilyx’s global Customer Success Manager and has experience working with a wide range of customers and organisations. Nathan is our customer’s primary point of contact and empowers them to be successful through a thorough understanding of their business goals, objectives and vision. With a development focused attitude, Nathan enjoys seeing the people around him thrive in their work environment by understanding how they are linked to the success of the customer, how they can best contribute to a shared vision and what this means for their skills and progression.

Nathan focuses on ensuring a consistently high level of service is being delivered to our customers and is passionate about assuring no stone is left unturned when it comes to the customer experience. Although Nathan works for Agilyx globally, he resides in the capital city, Wellington, and works from our Agilyx NZ offices.

Rudi Grace

Account Manager

Rudi joined Agilyx New Zealand from overseas and brought with him a solid background in Account Management, Customer Relations, and Sales in various technology-based roles. He has been in the IT industry for 11 years and has a successful history in engaging and building strong customer relationships and deploying solutions to satisfy customer needs.

Rudi is our client’s first point of contact and ensures that Agilyx anticipates and rapidly responds to our customers’ diverse needs.

Tom Simpson

Sales Operations Executive

Tom has joined the Agilyx New Zealand team from overseas. He is a highly analytical person with strong problem-solving abilities and very customer focused. He has three plus years’ experience in sales operations in the UK.
In our company, he assists with global bid management and the coordination of tenders and support the global Sales Operation Manager and the New Zealand Business Development Manager.

Carolyn Jones

Principal HR & Payroll Consultant

Carolyn Jones is our Principal HR and Payroll Consultant. A seasoned expert in all things payroll and HR, Carolyn has over 30 years Payroll and HR experience with 17 years as a consultant implementing and supporting HR & Payroll.  Carolyn has successfully implemented projects in New Zealand, Australia, Samoa, Vanuatu, Papua New Guinea, Singapore. She prides herself in achieving excellence in everything she does and enjoys the challenge of working side by side with customers to ensure they receive the best service and knowledge possible. Business processes are challenged to ensure the customer is achieving the best possible outcome and gaining efficiencies. Carolyn always provide an outstanding world class customer service experience.

Brett Cornforth

Senior Implementation Consultant

Brett is a Unit4 certified consultant with 15 years Business World experience in Europe and New Zealand. He is the lead consultant for procure to pay and an interface development and workflow specialist.
He thrives in complex and demanding environments. Brett has a proven ability to gain a comprehensive understanding of business requirements and configure Business World to optimise business processes.
His relaxed and personable demeanour enables him to communicate effectively with a wide range of people and quickly fit into any work environment. His experience has been obtained delivering implementations, upgrades and software support in the Higher Education, Health, Government and Professional Services sectors. He holds degrees in Accounting and Computer Science.

Liz Pay

Senior Consultant

Liz is a Unit4 certified consultant with over 25 years of experience. She has a strong background in requirements definition and system design with a particular focus on budgeting, reporting and process improvement. Liz has worked with a diverse range of organisations including public sector, local government and tertiary education providers.
In addition, Liz has worked in senior consulting roles developing business cases, costing models and strategy documents to support the development, approval and delivery of a wide range of projects.
Liz is a Chartered Accountant (CAANZ) and has broad experience in Management Accounting in both the public and the private sector. She brings a wealth of highly developed consultancy skills, enthusiasm and a dry sense of humour to all her projects.

Mary Meyer

Implementation Consultant

Mary is an experienced Business Analyst and Systems Accountant with experience in the infrastructure, professional services and commercial property sectors. With her strong financial management background, Mary is an accomplished Unit4 Business World expert who can effectively communicate with relevant stakeholders.

Mary’s passion lies in providing the best quality information possible to stakeholders and she has spent a great deal of time in the area of business intelligence including creating dashboards and scorecards using financial and non-financial information. Mary also has experience in the creation and delivery of end user training materials and enjoys helping people get the best out of their Business World implementation.

Annie Blomgren

Implementation Consultant

Annie is a Unit4 certified consultant who has recently joined the Agilyx team from Sweden. She was initially a part of a 6-month trainee program for Unit4 and now brings with her five years of Unit4 consultancy experience. Annie has a deep knowledge of integrations for Unit4 Business World, and before joining us here at Agilyx New Zealand, her work focused on the public sector.

Annie has experience in end-user-training and her strengths lie in her ability to listen and transform conversations into solutions. She enjoys tricky problem solving and making people’s everyday work easier through ingenious system solutions.

Johannes Nordangard

Implementation Consultant

Johannes is a Unit4 certified consultant. He began his career with Unit4 on their Trainee program in Sweden where he recently emigrated from to join us here at Agilyx NZ. Having worked with Unit4 Business World for four years, Johannes brings an exceptional amount of experience with him, including facilitating Unit4 training sessions in Sweden, Poland and Portugal. Field Service Management and Project Management are Johannes’ forte, and he likes working with integrated mobile solutions.

Johannes enjoys making the complicated look simple. He states: “An effective solution involves getting both the people and the product to work effortlessly.”

Jeff Shum

Implementation Consultant

Jeff is a qualified member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and a certified Unit4 Consultant. Jeff has held various finance roles within the government sector. He was heavily involved in a recent Business World implementation as a leading member of the project team, displaying a strong ability to engage with all areas of the organisation. He has a change embracing mentality while maintaining a strong customer focus. Jeff enjoys providing elegant solutions to complex problems.


Chithra Sreevalsalan

HR & Payroll Consultant

Chithra recently joined the Agilyx New Zealand team as an HR & Payroll Consultant. Chithra is an experienced ERP consultant with 3 years SCM consulting under her belt. She has a master’s degree in business management which has enhanced her skills in analysing a business, understanding its requirements and successfully navigating through to solutions.

Chithra is passionate about developing her consultancy skills in ERP and does so by striving for a deep understanding of the different modules within it.

Aaron Mao

Support Consultant

Aaron is one of our Support Consultants and brings four years of experience in end-user support, network administration, application and operating system support and customer service. Working closely with our support centre in Sydney, Aaron provides a local presence to assist Agilyx customers in New Zealand and also helps Agilyx customers around the world. Aaron has a Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications Engineering and has worked in global locations including Tokyo and Shanghai.

Aaron enjoys troubleshooting and going the extra mile to solve a customer’s problem. He also has a great ability to be able to use simple terms to explain complex things to non-technical users.

Beatriz Santos

Marketing Advisor

Beatriz is the Marketing Advisor for Agilyx NZ and works alongside the Agilyx Group marketing team, based in Sydney. She has a Bachelor of Journalism and a Masters in Marketing Communications. Beatriz holds nine years of communications and marketing experience; during this time she has worked in Spain and United Kingdom.
Beatriz is very passionate about content marketing, planning and delivering campaigns, events management, and delivering ROI through traditional and online marketing strategies.

Carol Pepere

Project and Office Administrator

Carol is our Project and Office Administrator and works closely with both the Project Manager and the Global Operations Manager. Carol understands the importance of ensuring that the Project and Administrative role is carried out in a timely and professional manner. Carol has extensive experience in all things administrative, she is the “go to” person for our office needs.
